when you think about it a bunch of miniatures is an articulated, reconfigurable toy when considered as a unit. You can set down and deploy all sorts of battlefields/etc

A statue is always going to be a statue and nothing else

Why again does /toy/ have a problem with statue collectibles? Most of your guys toys might as well be fucking statues anyway (except for you toy photography bros)

Because there is nothing to discuss with statues. Even if you buy an articulated figure and pose it twice that's two more poses than the statue can do. With statues I feel like you can look at a couple of nice photos and get the same enjoyment out of that as you can holding the statue in hand since its forever static. It's the reason I just started buying art books of vinyl art toys instead of the toys themselves. It's cheaper and it takes up less space.

You made the right choice, if it was a big figure with articulation it would've been a different story but mini statues > giant boring statue.
