>>6729483It's pretty hard for a 2 year old to open a Detolf. My 4 year old doesn't give enough of a shit to try though, and my 6 and 8 year old niece and nephew respect the word "no" enough not to try.
I also have Bestas with glass doors, and they're fairly hard to open since they don't have handles or anything. Again, my 4 year old couldn't be assed enough to try and figure it out since I normally let her see a figure or two and she's pretty good with respecting my things. My 2 year old doesn't really have the strength to open the doors either.
As for the doors I built for my other shelf, I designed them in such a way that they had to be opened from the top of the shelf. Neither my kids, nor my niece and nephew are tall enough to even reach it.
