SAS is really only a good line because it is willing to do (mostly) full casts.
The actual figures are pretty mediocre and haven't advanced with time like the other major Japanese lines.

Older Straps and ketchains are probably more a pain to find since I checked Mandarake and there seems to be only that one single listing and a Stone Ocean keychain pack but both are sold out. Yahoo Auction Japan or From Japan may help since I found some luck finding random merch from other series but obviously you have to deal with proxy fees on top.

A quick shot but the combo looks okay with the greens complementing the general whites of Jotaro. SAS generally come with two heads so don't worry about that. If you're curious about the punch effects they come from Jotaro 3rd.

Honestly there's no guarantee that there'll be a second of them, and if there will be the price will be a lot higher and the paint a lot cheaper. Wouldn't really make sense buying two figures for 7-8k yen each when you can can get probably better painted versions for 2-3k each. But yeah, on the other hand Jonathan can only get pricier.

No, the heads will be swapped. Like with caesar, what I wanted was green body+ silver hair, and most others wanted blue body+ yellow hair. So you'd need both to get the desired colors.

I swear I can't understand this "new gappy" meme. It's a pretty amazing figure as it is, sold for a very reasonable price too.
If anyone needs a proper reissue that would be the stardust crusaders cast, but that hasn't happened in years, so I don't see Medicos reissuing a much newer figure.
I mean, Josuke's design has changed a bit over time, but it's still a pretty good rapresentation of the character.

As someone who owns both, Part 4 Jotaro is a better figure in every way and has a backpack prop and swappable caps. Part 3 Jotaro has more hands, but is far harder to pose (especially around the thighs). Part 3’s heads also are just the same expression drawn a little differently, so he really only has one head. All of that being said, if you have the extra ten bucks, get Jotaro 4. If you’re new to buying, I’d highly suggest Amiami. They’ve got both new for a decent price.

That's tough since Medicos dedicated themselves as the main JJBA figureline with only a sprinkle of random IP's on the side. Each part gets protagonists, the main stands, villains, allies and their stands, and recolors out the ass. I can't imagine another company going all in like that without some catches along the way or only doing a small handful and calling it a day to other series to focus on. Unless there is a company that flew under my radar that isn't GSC, Bandai, Sentinel, Revoltech, RAH, and so on.

Medicos is based, not even shit like fucking Dragon Ball has this many characters covered, we have complete casts for several of the parts, with Stands included.
Parts 2, 4, 5 and 6 have outstanding line ups and good quality overall. 3 is yiffy due to age and 7 got fucked over, but looking at the big picture what Medicos provided is outstanding.

YAJ if you can deal with the additional proxy costs but you're just getting a single figure so it shouldn't be too bad. Buyee is generally a starter choice since they proxy directly off YAJ and you see the banner for oversea sales plus they can hold items for a month I think so you can do larger bundle orders. Mandarake refreshing is hell and you never know when someone will sell Johnny and how quick the site will make it available before it gets snatched up unless you wait it out post event.

I realize this may mean we’ll get the superior Diego colorway as a standard release but, knowing Medicos, more likely it means that the standard release will be gross as fuck.

Standard Valentine would’ve been great if not for the white hair. Johnny’s ok, not as good as the WF version but not awful. At least neither standard release looks like Gyro 2nd, fuck.

On the bright side, that DIO Big sculpt has me hard as fuck.

I don't know much about COD, but I think it normally means that the sender (auction lister) ships the package, and the recipient (Buyee) must pay in full at the time of delivery. There might be an additional COD fee for that.

But many forwarders/proxies will not handle COD for you, because of all the personal interaction and whatnot. So again, read the proxy's FAQ.

You don't need be nervous. For the most part, proxies take care of all payment and buyer-seller interactions for you. You just have to wait for them to give instructions or request payment.

Why the green color scheme works? Alright, let's have an art lesson. There are three basic theories in relation to color harmony: analogous, complementary (or split-complementary), and natural. Analogous colors are 2-5 colors that sit adjacent to each other on the color wheel, in Diego's case here yellow-green, and the yellow-gold from his belt and hat. White is a neutral color that works well with anything, especially when contrasting 'louder' colors, like that yellow-green.

You want to know why Gyro 2nd works? Pretty much the same exact principle. The green in his belt is exactly 5 steps on the color wheel from the purple of his goggles. Blue and purple are even closer analogues. Beige (his pants aren't just 'white') combines intensely well with blue, emerald, and pink. (His stirrups.) In fact, taking the pink and bronze into account, Gyro 2nd's color scheme isn't just analogous, it's a tetrad: a scheme using one primary and two complementary colors, plus another that highlights its accents.

At the time, there were no buyouts. Well, that's not really true, there were a few buyouts that didn't specifically list that they included the bonus items, and didn't have in-hand pictures of the figures themselves. So I bid on one that was pretty reasonable, but it just started climbing, and all the buyouts were gone until a moment ago. So I was totally prepared to keep going (probably would've stopped around $500-600), but I figured I'd look again, and found them for $230.

Ah, should’ve included some more details. Blue Johnny will go on sale *at some point* (my guess is next WonFest), and searching for the other may require using the Japanese text for “Johnny” and “SAS” on Mandy, etc. By the way, the absolute minimum price you’ll find WF Johnny at is going to be $90-$95 before shipping. Like any WF release, you’re paying for “the service” someone did by going to WF and picking the figure up.
