I spent stupid dollars on just one Kickstarter last year.
I used to customise, but not much now.
I've also been at the "things you own end up owning you" level in the past when I was a Star Wars completest.
Transformers could be broken up more.
First I started with a few of the legends class for novelty.
Then moved onto Deluxe/Voyager class trying to keep things roughly to scale.
Then the MP line, which inevitably led to 3rd Party crack addiction.
Also, those figure numbers are pretty low for each level. 15-25 figures can still be hidden easily when you're slightly ashamed by your collection, so you can still hide them when you bring women back to your place.
By the time you've got 25-50, you usually have a dedicated case/bookshelf, and you have no chance of hiding them. That's when you hit That Weird Guy level.
