Similar to that Kingdom Hearts thread someone tried to make last week, I have to question the usefulness of this. I don't want to complain about threads on a fairly slow board, if there's a Sonic thing you want to discuss, go for it, but is there anywhere close to enough Sonic merch out there to warrant a general?

i have faith just because it's tomy who's making it, and i loved their snorlax, machamp and greninja figures.
also long time ago they made these fuckers, and my favorite was the one with interchangeable eyes, so seeing sonic with that gives me a little nostalgia.
though looking how shitty the other sonic figures they are making gives me a bad feeling about how it will end
hope that after classic they made modern sonic with interchangeable shoes and then give you the soap shoes

The modern figures... just don't look too great. Especially Tails.

Yeah, why did a lot of the plush toys increase in price so much? I really wanted the Vector plush but now it's over 40 dollars on Amazon

I'd agree that the nendoroid is great, but that he has modern Sonic's design might turn off people looking for a true classic Sonic.

Jazwares made decent ones in 5 and 10 inches. Or you could wait to check out Tomy's upcoming "collector" Sonic which has articulation, swappable faces and a chili dog. Tomy's quality track record hasn't been too great though.

Just wanted to throw out there that if you wanted it to blend in with the existing 5 inch Sonic figure from Jazwares you should shorten it by about 3/4 of an inch. As it stands it's just a little too tall.
