>>6743417POTP hasn't hit some US markets yet. It runs thru Fall 2019. Next series will hit saturation by early 2020, but should begin trickle late 2019. Dates always refer to full US retail saturation, not leaks or Asian releases. Most of you know this, but worth reminding for those who like to argue semantics.
Prime Masters has 4 more toys to get all 12 Primes. Split over 2 Waves of 2 each in January and April. Stranglehold, Waverider, Longtooth and Doubleheader.
Legends has Wave 4 release in January 2019. Gears re-release and the other Duocon(s). April will see Swerve re-release and Goldbug retool of TR Bumblebee.
Deluxe have 2 additional waves, with six more toys between them. January 2019 and April 2019. Sideswipe is a retool of Jazz. Ratchet and Blast Off are the Takara UW toys.
G2 Style Slag/Slug is in Wave 4. G2 style Decos of Swoop, Snarl and Sludge will be split between Wave 5 and 6.
Voyager only has 2 new toys for 2019. G2 Grimlock as Wave 4 and Skywarp as Wave 5. Thundercracker is a TRU exclusive.
Thunderwing is the last original mold Leader. January 2019. It's a premold for the next line's Star Saber. Ultra Magnus / Dion is a retool of Optimus Prime. April 2019. Primal will obviously be repainted in Primal Prime colors sometime in 2019+. Not officially scheduled yet.
Retailers aren't buying a lot of later waves,so that's why they are redeco and retool heavy. We're just responding to modern retail reality. We can't force Walmart and Target to buy everything. Online can compensate buy not enough for totally original molds.
POTP product WILL run thru the summer 2019 with case fresh waves. Especially of the Deluxe and Voyagers. We might have entire waves of Dinobots in either deco or Terrorcons. Too early to gauge sales. Largely depends on Walmart and TRU. It's a bad time to launch new lines, but good for catching up.
