>gacha are poisonous>gacha are worse than crackThat's some pretty intense hyperbole you're spouting. Again, this is a board for toy collectors and enthusiasts. You're not going to turn anyone to a line of thinking that amounts to "collecting [very specific type of toy] is a dangerous addiction, worse than the most addictive form of cocaine." That's ridiculous. Crack cocaine damages the brain and body in numerous ways, including heart attacks and respiratory failure, which can easily lead to death. Meanwhile, Gachapon are little collectible plastic toys from Japan.
It would be just as ridiculous to say "scratch-off lottery tickets are worse than meth." The only reasonable correlation is that addiction is bad for people, and at that point you're just making a "no shit" argument that the majority of people already know. Addictive tendencies in humans may make them crave something at the destruction of their own life (and often the lives of those around them), and someone with such an addictive personality requires mental health treatment.
Yes, a person who uses all of their money to buy gacha toys, only to end up destitute and obsessed, now suffers from a ruined life. However, you need to understand that gacha didn't ruin their life, their addiction did. It'd be the exact same as someone spending all of their money on Figuarts or Transformers. Addiction was the problem, not the thing they were buying.
Finally, spending all of your available money on a good or service is not even remotely the same type of addiction as having a physical addiction to a hard drug (which also frequently has the side effect of spending all of your available money on it). Withdrawals felt from not buying gacha for a while will absolutely not kill you, but an addicts can very easily die from withdrawal symptoms.
My point: Don't use such grave terminology, it's just gacha.
