>>6756888>I love how butthurt you are. And you're still making shit up because of it. Oh, I'm butthurt alright, but i still gave 4H a chance and i got butthurt even more when their troll was released, because it's disappointing as hell.
Not only does the paint scratch off easily, but the articulation is largely shit thanks to their Mattel-quality understanding of articulation and how heavy the limbs are.
So instead of getting a perfectly great figures with engineering to reflect the giant size (like Hasbro's rancor), they overencumber the articulation to make up for the mass.
The size of the figure also means that molding is a HUUUGE cost.
If it had been a 1:18 figure, there's no reason it couldn't have been as articulated as their regular 1:12 figures. To make a figure as big as the troll as articulated means more pieces, which means 2-3 more molds.
As for making shit up?
The only thing we knew back then was that mounts and dragons were a possibility. Not trolls or ogres, liike you were claiming.
Mounts and dragons are still off the table thanks to their sizes and will be really really fucking expensive if they are made, considering that they would require better articulation.... or will they continue making McStatues like they did with the trolls?
Here's Boss Fight's horse, which features more articulation than the Figma horse (which is not even 1:12 scale)
