His "depression" is basically as tired as his other memes and his reviews are getting less and less actually informative/honest
He's also getting lazy as fuck. When he was poor and living with his parents he pushed out plenty of videos, resorting to old toys from his childhood and whatnot
Now he's getting at least 20 free toys a month, plus sponsor toys plus whatever else he buys with the thousand or so he gets from patreon and yet publishes only 1 or 2 videos a week before going on a break because he's feeling "creatively bankrupt"
He's been creatively bankrupt for years because all his videos follow the same formula and he's too afraid to change it up, because he knows that his 14yo audience wants more swivel memery. They're not actually watching to get information on a toy

Also he's like a celebrity among toy people. I see him all the time at Chicago comic cons and the big Kane County toy show. People stop him to take selfies with him, sign autographs, take pics with their kids etc. Also if dealers recognize him, they cut him drastic deals or just give him stuff for free. He's not bad outside of toys but this is definitely working out for him.

Does anyone else feel like Jobby is super needy for attention? The constant "ironic" self hatred is just stupid, but you can tell he's trying to do it for attention. He sings whenever he gets the chance, and don't get me wrong he's got a nice voice, but again it's for attention. Same thing with his art.
He's also generally an asshole when it comes to his PO box videos.
He throws everything that's not a big expensive figure to the side and acts like he's appreocative but you can tell he's really not

Used to like him but I've just been getting shitty vibes from him lately.
At least the swivels and Batman mask shit stopped.

What kills me with Peaugh is that he clearly is reviewing for the money and not for the love of it. His choices of items to review are only items that he feels will get him views and not items that he legit loves and wants to talk about like Thew does.

It's also quite clear that Peaugh does not collect and/or keep Transformers after reviewing them. He would rarely be able to compare stuff to other toys due to selling them after reviewing them.

To the whole point about reviewing being amazing, it really isn't all the time. I completely understand why it seems easy - they're just ~ 10 minute videos you upload and you wait for the views to roll in - but it isn't that simple.

First you have to shoot everything and then edit. This can take 1-3 hours, sometimes even more. Then you need to upload the video, properly add the tags and then whatever else YouTube needs like CC if needed. Follow that up with marketing it, the right thumbnail, and then.... Boom on to the next. YouTube doesn't give us any breathing room, either.

I know you all have the shilling for subs and likes and views, but for a YouTuber we *need* that to keep going. The algorithms play against everyone, so every sub, every thumbs up, all of it matters. They kill small channels and channels that don't upload daily.

So yeah. Let's not even talk about shit like people bitching in the comments about XYZ and what not. To be clear, I only have about 11k subs myself, but still, it's the same at every level.

But also to be clear, these fuckers begging for people to send them stuff... I make almost enough YouTube and sponsor bucks a month to cover my collecting. So these bigger guys can kinda sod off.

I understand that it's not easy but still when you're not having fun doing it its really really either dull or disengenuis especially with all the "gibs me mo free shit" shilling that TF reviewers do now. Some of these reviews talk about shitty TFs like they're a mother trying to make thier retarded child out to be an amazing fucking superstar when in reality they eat more crayons and elmers glue than a marine battalion does. It really devalues the reviews of great toys like sixshot and roadbuster because it's way harder to tell if they're actually good or not.

That and to many reviewers get big heads for basically no reason the start sperging.

Reviews should only take an hour and a half to make if you the video itself is a long one. The only time I've had a review that took that long to make was when the video itself was around 40 minutes long and my laptop was slow at rendering the final product.

You can easily tell the people who have fun with their videos and those who do it because they *need* to. It's a hobby. Sometimes a profitable one, sometimes not.

And as for the bitching, begging, etc? Who cares. Either block them if it bugs you too much or move on and ignore it.
