The "six inch scale" and better articulation had me very excited, but everything about the execution of this toyline is so poor that I held off getting anything from this line. If only Kotobukiya was still doing their halo stuff.

I actually grabbed the Ghost set today for less then the actual single packed figures. I still haven't seen a straight up Master Chief though, it's always Locke and the Red Elite guy.

Nice, but sadly the distribution for this line is shot. Local TRUs have the line on clearance and as discontinued, sadly. I'd have definitely wanted Atriox from the last assortment, and I'd like a few from this one too. Hopefully there's some way to get them that isn't too expensive.

You might want to wait to see if Series 2 ever gets released though, since he'll have better paint apps.

There will be a big announcement for Halo this year, do the math and it is about time. They are holding off until there is enough Halo hype (there isn't even a particle of it right now) to release and have good sales. It is a timing thing, trust me.

They really need to go back into the molds and figure out better hips. What they implemented was way too segmented and ugly. And maybe a new neck joint that doesn’t just flop around. I’ve got a bag of Halo Mattel figures just sitting in pieces because I paid deep clearance for them and determined they aren’t worth that much.

What ever happened to Kotobukiya's Artfx+ Halo "statues"? I have the Master Chief and have been eyeing everything else since their prices started dropping way down on Amazon, but they quit without warning with the Athlon set. They're perfect examples of what Mattels line should have been and if I could, I'd turn my Cheif into a full-fledged action figure.
