Bandai seems to have gotten it for their Civil War Cap. I just don't get why Hasbro never seems to go the extra mile for Evans's likeness even after all this time. I've read someone here mention that Hasbro probably thinks it's not really worth it. True or not, it's just such a turn-off for his movie figures that Hasbro puts out especially when everyone's getting likeness upgrades.

So any estimated time on the Apocalypse BAF wave?

It seemed like the shelves gonna be oversaturated with Black Panther wave, Infinity war wave, DP Sasquatch and Lizard wave for the forseeable future. There are several peg clogger in all those 3 waves, I'm already seeing Nakia and Black Bolt clogging my local Walmart.

I can see Spider Woman, Punk Spiderman, Paladin, Deathlok, Proxima and Songbird will clog the peg even further. For fuck's sake my local target still has White Tiger from Rhino BAF eons ago

Unfortunately, not really. The most I've done is slight paint touch-ups on some of my older figures
I do know about hairdryer and boiling water tricks to removed parts though. I'm assuming I do that to remove the hair?

yup. I used a hair dryer. Silk's hair comes in 2 parts, make sure you get as much of it off as you can for the wig to fit. when you glue it on use an applicator like the popsicle stick and apply a thin layer. I only glued in 2 spots; the spot above her eyebrow where the bangs meet, and on the opposite side on top of the head. you might want to adjust it a bit before you decide to glue it.

These could be bootlegs, as ridiculous as it sounds. Happens with Lego sets all the time, bootleggers make knockoffs of the prototype sets. Would explain the quality of the plastic and how soft they all look.

As a huge symbiote fan, I'm kind of disappointed that two of the figures in the wave are just slightly retooled figures with additional parts.

Hopefully they at least have unmasked heads, that might make it worth it.

From what I've seen the wings have a surprising amount of articulation.

Honestly the biggest gripes I have with the figure are the stand wasn't just a little bit higher to give him a hovering pose and the hands.

This actually seems to be an issue with most Hasbro Marvel Legends figures that are comic based (doesn't seem to be an issue with the movie figures). Whether it's Venom or Captain America, they all have proportionately huge heads.

Venom, on the other hand, looks terrible. I think either his head is legitimately sitting too high, or those tendrils are creating an optical illusion where his shoulders appear to end there so his neck looks a mile long.

It's only fast because of the shit posting. Removing Legends from the Marvel threads means there isn't enough discussion. Figuarts, Revos, etc, aren't announced or released anywhere near as often. People still talked about imports in the ML general, because why wouldnt you, comparing figures on the market is only logical and the non ML threads still had ridiculous amounts of shitposting from subjectanon/whoever this anti-revo autist is.

Bottomline, ML Generals were an even bigger shitshow than whats currently happening here.

Take a look at Toybiz's Urban Legends Spiderman. It's often overlooked because of how simple it is, but it works very well for the character, with great comic anatomy and it has an amazing range of motion. Feels much more Spider-Manish than Pizza Spidey to me.

The figure has some obvious shortcomings, but it's actually very nice once you get past them. It's very poseable (I've got it displayed on the MvC pose) and its physical build is very dynamic and cool to look at, with those long legs and that narrow-waisted, wide-shouldered triangle torso.

Back in the day it got overshadowed by figures with complex shading and sculpted creases and web detail such as the McFarlane Spidey, but now that Pizza Spidey is the current reference I can't help but notice how cool this figure is.

The ML BAF is trash though. It's really hallow and the legs wanna come back apart. Hasbro is re-releasing it soon, but the MS is pretty good. Only thing that really sucks about the MS is switching hands takes like a vice grip to do it. His range of motion on his arms is a little limited, but overall, thats the one I kept, ditched the ML.
