>>6754362Much the opposite. They're growing older, late 20s, early 30s, and their lack of meaningful relationships with women has them terrified that they might be homosexual. They've been taught all their lives that being homosexual is a sin, a crime, that it's gay. The thought, even subconsciously, that they might be gay terrifies them to the core.
They insist that their lack of success with women is because women are too shallow or stupid, or expect too much. It can't be because they're disinterested, on a level they don't even understand, and seek to sabotage even the possibility of a relationship with a woman. It can't be because on the rare occasions they open up to a woman on a romantic level she can instinctively tell they're homosexual and decides to find a romantic partner elsewhere. It can't be because their suppressed sexual and romantic interests in men are bursting out of the seams so badly that they're totally incapable of socializing with women. No, it must be the woman's fault.
It gets to the point (usually around 26-29) where the mere fact of a woman's existence is a reminder of their inability to acquire or maintain a romantic relationship with a woman, and that reminder upsets them. Same with the reminder that homosexuals exist, as the obvious answer it brings to mind is so terrible and unthinkable that they immediately stamp it down.
Every time you encounter homophobia, try to remember that there's more to it than meets the eye.
