Finally Omangan stuff. Hopefully some of these are ready for Wave 3 or 4.

It really does make me sad though that most of this stuff won't ever be realized for 1/18th (mainly for the weathering and paintwork), and that releases seem to be non-existent for the original line. I'm grateful that were getting some really awesome stuff from Kit x B.2 Five, but I miss the early days and promises for the 1/18th line. Having said that I'm totally okay with B.2 Five being the main line for the foreseeable future if it means Kit is able to continue bringing us neat stuff.

Also, please don't construe this as complaining. I'm aware Chapel and most of the mechs shown today would definitely not be feasible without 1/18

Anyway, what do all *3 1/2* of you think?

I agree. I love seeing Acid Rain at any scale. Then again, I'm maybe the only person in the world who started with B2Five and doesn't own any of Kit's 1/18th figures (although I've been admiring them from afar for years).

I just love the look and feel of B2Five. The figures are incredibly expressive and the vehicles are packed with neat little gimmicks. I also prefer a "toy-like" aesthetic over the weathered look but, again, I'm sure I'm in the minority.

And please share your template! I'm the anon who started this thread and I have no idea what I'm doing.

This fucker looks intense. Like when Kit said that B.2 would let him do larger stuff I didn't think he meant this large. I mean it's a mech inside of an even larger mech, and at a playable scale to boot!

This is what's finally going to get me to pull the trigger on B.2 stuff. The reason I've been hesitant is due to me not wanting to split up my purchases between two lines (gotta catch'em and all that), and having no desire to buy smaller versions of stuff I already own. Also, this just looks too awesome.

Maybe? The fit is already pretty tight. If they can get their legs curled up tight then they might fit in the Strongholds, but I doubt they would fit in a Laurel or a Speeder.

Just ordered the Stealth Speeder after sitting on it for about a month. Think I'm gonna knock a pin out and remove the roll cage so it doesn't stick out so far when worn as a backpack (like pic related).

Did a quick shoop just to double check and I might even prefer it this way in both modes. I always felt the figures looked comically cramped in that thing with their bodies curled up and their heads jutting out the front.

Between $30 for the smaller items (figure sets, Speeders) and ~$60 for larger stuff (Stronghold)

By the way guys, I think I'm finally going to jump into B.2 Five. The trouble I'm currently having is deciding what colorway I should go in on for the Agurts guys (cost saving measure so I don't buy too many repaints). For my 1/18th stuff it's mainly 303rd Marine, so possibly something different. The line is so new and varied compared to 1/18th that I'm worried that by limiting myself I'll miss out on neat new parts.

I'm also kind of interested in possibly tracking down the two stealth releases (kicking myself for not buying them when they were on the store and like $110 shipped).

Any suggestions?

I would guess that they will do one of each model in every colorway, so everyone will get a Laurel, a Speeder, etc. I guess you could choose between Marine and Jungle, because both Strongholds are green, but no matter what it looks like every color will also have different parts (The Strongholds have different wrist weapons and mounted guns, the Laurels have different arms.) I'm getting one of everything, just because with a line like this the more you have the more fun they are.

I'd appreciate a Stealth Laurel to mix in with my Stronghold/Speeder exclusives (I tend to prefer the simplest colorways), but I'd be just as happy if the proto on the right gets colored as the yellow Worker class. I feel like yellow would mix well with the dull olive and black of the Stealth ones.

I would grab a Sol Commander, or any of the Agurts Infantry bodied releases really, as a litmus test because that's what most of the current figures are based off of.

If you can find the Bucks Team guys that'd be great. They're definitely the most diverse and interesting figures Kit has put out so far.

Agurts and Sol commanders are great indications of the line, but the vehicles are also very exciting.ayne get a couple troopers then upgrade to a vehicle or two if you decide you like them.

The base is made of pink insulation foam. You cut it with a hot wire tool, which are pretty cheap on amazon.

Also, the speeder is cool but I don't like its mech mode as much as I like the Stronghold's. But that's okay, I like its car mode better.

Differences:

The new box is a crate and sleeve

The figure looks darker because it is more weathered than before. Almost too much which is extra annoying when you consider that the Agurts reissue has the opposite problem, it’s too clean and not weathered enough.

Both reissues seem more susceptible to chipping and paint rub than original figures.
