Considering how hasbro ignores its star wars fan base and only make total shit for the marvel movie lines, im only interested in what legends and transformers they reveal. Mattel will be total spunk as usual, so im hoping some other companies show good stuff to make up for the bigger companies failures.

I think the only indy line that hasn't gone is Marauder's Gun Runners. OMFG and Gylos went i think and these guys also go to San Diego Comic Con with their own proper booth, unlike 4H.

LEGO has already announced they won't be showing anything that didn't come out on Jan.1, so I guess the only thing I'm really looking forward to is the painted 2-up of NECA's Pennywise.

That'll never happen because of what happened with PR Figuarts the first time around (check out the SHF thread if you want to discuss that, a few people went pretty indepth a couple of days ago) and because of the difficulty of getting actor likenesses, plus the differences between the Japanese and US actors.

Straight up re-releases of the MMPR guys is more realistic, but even that's not too likely.

I'm hoping McFarlane has some Star Trek Discovery prototypes to show off, and then a list of stuff they're planning for the future of their Star Trek lines.

Also hoping Bandai shows off some more Dragon Stars figures, and maybe some more Dragon Ball Super merch in-general.

Not really expecting Diamond Select to show off anything Star Trek related. Though that Borg Select figure and the Reliant should, theoretically, be ready to show off by now. If not they really need to just give up and give the few licensing rights they still have to a company that'll actually utilize them.

I really just want to see more Storm Collectibles stuff. Slutty dress Chun-Li is a big draw for me, and supposedly we're getting it, so hopefully we'll see a prototype. If they announce more Capcom fighting game licenses, that would be stellar too, but I figure they'd probably wait for SDCC to do that.

Other than that, I want to see what is in store for MOTU. Doubtful we'll get anything new from Super7 for MOTUC (again, SDCC), but maybe some Mega Construx reveals will be there.

I wish Figuarts were handled similar to the Transformers brand, or hell, how we had the Megazords up until the last decade or so; in that Japan gets the more painted and detailed release for a higher price, and the US gets a cheaper one. Lets say we got Figuarts released in stores for $20-25, but with the main colors being plastic and paint limited just to the most important detailing, just one or two sets of hands, and limited accessories. It wouldn't be the best option, but at least it keeps the line alive.

I'd also really like to see 4H announce a KS for their Power Lords line as they currently are. I really don't want them to give up on it because of some preorder on their site that never had a chance. Why Mythic Legions 2.0 got a KS yet Power Lords can't felt so much like them setting it up for failure.

It would be nice to see Hasbro get the ball rolling on more of their "Hasbroverse" and bringing out more figures from it. I would assume they would stick to 1/18 for the majority of their lines.

Speaking of Hasbro, it would also be nice to see some progress and previews of upcoming Vintage Collection figures. Marvel is so ingrained as a 6" figure line now that I doubt anything 1/18 (other than maybe a few small things here and there) will be made, and unless they start improving them back to what they used to be, then I can't imagine they'll have much success either way.

It would be nice to see more from Wicked Cool Toys's Pokemon line, perhaps some actual prototypes and hopefully some good pics and maybe even some interviews or insight from them.

I'd also like to see more Ben 10 and Voltron from Playmates, as well as maybe some sneak peeks at the new TMNT.

Iamelemental is showing off their new 6.5" core power of Wisdom, so that might be cool to see.

And anything else good, really. I'm always interested to see more new things.

the design work is only true for the power rangers side, not the sentai side. Remember at some point over the years the items stopped being cheaper paint deco/less color apps of the same item and just straight up completely different items for the megazords and basic figures.

Hasbro will make an announcement about the future of their shared media universe that will have the opposite of its intended effect on both collectors and industry insiders.

Buzz Bee Toys and Dart Zone will unveil néw blasters/gimmicks that will surpass those of Nerf.

The Mega Construx team will have another sprawling display of things they don't intend on producing for sale to hide the fact that the only thing keeping the brand alive are their licenses.

Youtubers will maintain an obnoxious presence on the showroom floor as marketers continue to rely upon them to generate interest in their crap.

A company will unveil a series of "cute" toy collectibles based on farts. It will consist of cartoon eyes printed on an empty blister card. Each one will have some terrible pun for a name. Collect all 50 in series 1!
