The average sociopath tends to be very ambitious, min/maxing and power-leveling their way through life. Maximum result, minimum effort. Path of least resistance, highest rewards.
Also a strong tendency towards gambling and poor impulse control, furthering the reason why stocks and investments are more attractive careers to them.
So basically when a normal person enlists in the military, they do so with the eventual career goal of just getting out and getting college credit. A sociopath goes into ROTC because its a stepping stone towards the officer corps, a middle goal that the normal person doesn't really have.
