In an alternate universe where Bandai was competent enough to release a figure of one of the most popular characters in the Gundam franchise who has an incarnation in basically every series and not that Master Asia figure a vocal minority begged them to release and none if whom actually bought.

I'd buy so many Gundam characters. 0079 Char, Zeta Char, Bright, Kamille, Bernie, Chris, Daryl, Ramba fuckin' Ral and Crowley Hamon, Gihren, Kai... and that's only the UC stuff. Maybe I'm in the minority though

Your not alone anon.I have a feeling Master Asia's flop might have affected this release which is a shame because Bandai has no one to blame but themselves for Master Asia. This figure would've printed money for them especially with the Gundam Origin OVA. I still hope we get a release soon.

Friendly reminder that the first Gundam pilot Figuarts was actually Domon who sold well and has become a rare and sought after figure
A whopping 7 years later, Bandai decided to release Master Asia to pair up with Domon
Considering the 7 year gap, not only is it possible we'll still see the Char Figurarts, it's also ridiculous to say Master Asia is the reason the pilot line was scrapped when he was released solely to match up with the previously successful Domon

While it's nice to try and have hope, it's pretty ridiculous to think Char is happening. Master Asia did fail spectacularly because they waited seven years. And we have not seen the prototypes for Char, Allenby, Rain, or casual clothing Domon since Asia's failure. It's safe to say the pilots are not going to get made, unless by some miracle someone at Tamashii Nations gets bored.

I'm hoping that since it's the 40th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam next year we get Char released or some news about him at the very least.

I'd love them to release some 0079 characters alongside the ANIME RD figures too.
