Costs too much. They could've made this as a model kit as well and it would've been a fraction of the price and we wouldn't really lose anything other than maybe the metallic paint
But it being a model kit you could easily just paint it anyway

I haven't heard very good things about the figure itself.

At least mine, does. The bulk of the actual neck can't move left or right, but can move up and down and the head can look left and right easily.

yeah, the neck joint is down by where the collarbone would be. It's not GREAT but it is there.

Honestly my biggest problem is the arms- they're super thin and spindly compared to the rest of the body and I never know how to pose them.

It's about 6 inches actually. in Sentinel's defense isn't they have a thing with making toys that's niche in small supply thus driving the prices higher?
And perhaps in Iron Giant's case could it be because of added foreign licensing fee cost as well?

Though I do agree that sentinel's products tend to be on expensive side compared to what usually included.
Here's I'm hoping bandai's new Chogokin Full Action line would deliver a good competition to RIobot and sentinel in general.
