Fetishes aside, it's a well-known fact that college is a meme these days. In some countries, you're rejected from jobs for actually having a higher-education, they say you're too qualified. Yet there are zero openings related to the field you studied. Not to mention the shit ton of money you spend on it. Save all of that in a bank and you're already halfway towards retirement

Also, ebay forces sellers into displaying best offer, supposedly. If they said in the description that offers were welcome and they still denie everything, even 1$ off, then yeah they're scum. Otherwise they probably were forced into having it enabled and aren't interested in offers
