Pics of all the new He-Man stuff coming out.

The new vintage style figures may show up at retail, exclusive to an unnamed retailer which Super7 wont reveal, because they haven't finalized the deal. My guess would be Toys R Us though.

The whole point of the Filmation series was that it was simple budget animation. Their original Castle Grayskull animated ad could have been the show's standard if not for the high cost, instead we got something simplified.

Brian Flynn also refuses to reissue the old toys.

We have no idea how fucked up and messy the license is for any of it and what restrictions are holding them back. Every time they open their mouths and reveal one tidbit of info into the terms of their license, we learn a new factoid on how fucking stupid Mattel has been in the past. It's like clockwork. Selling all of MOTU in the 90s, not owning anything of the property, not owning the fucking molds for the toys, etc.

Honestly if I were Flynn I would never have signed up for MOTU since it has to have one of the most enraging and overly complex stipulations and restrictions for a modern toy line franchise. It's like how Neca has to massage restrictions to release certain TMNT and DC stuff, but instead of just one or two little bumps it's applied to the whole god damned kit and caboodle.

I sold off my few MOTUC figures because all that were available were random assholes I had never heard of.
