I have only done this once as a big wall hanging display for my sister last christmas so the thing is over a year old now. Unfortunately it is currently packed away while they are trying to move so when I am able to visit them in their new house I can investigate the figures. The figures need recentering anyway.
Which is one downside of using a sphere for your container, the beads have a much greater ability to shift around that way, spinning and tilting the objects. The objects are still in the same spot technically, just the entire insides move as a whole.
