When Walmart says "lower the price you charge us for this product every year" and you can't afford to lower the price anymore, Walmart cuts you loose and finds another producer that can meet their ridiculous demands.
This has had the fantastic effect of driving the US manufacturing sector into the ground, because American companies literally can't produce the product at that low of a price even if their employees work for free. So you outsource to China and end up with a shitty sub-par product made of cheap materials that will break a week after the 90-day warranty expires, but at least you're buying from a patriotic American company and not Target!
