If you can't muster up the willpower yourself, then you should probably see a therapist. Certain compulsive behaviors can be managed with therapy, medication, or a combination thereof. Perhaps you could also try to redirect your energy into a less expensive hobby.

But seriously, just take some time to appreciate what you do have. Stay the hell off the internet toy sites, nothing is worse for buying addiction than hobby sites. Look up mods and reviews for things you have already purchased. Instead of having buying shit as your hobby, take up making things such as dioramas, soft goods, etc. You will channel your energy into something more productive, fulfilling and cheaper.
