How much space does buying toys take up for you? I'm getting to the point where I feel like I should stop buying because it's starting to take up too much space. I guess I could just throw out their boxes.

They take up 4 shelves right now but I have a shit ton of other stuff I collect too.
I'm thinking of either re-organizing everything to make more room or just getting more shelves

More space than I have. I used to buy tons of Lego sets, but I stopped at the start of 2017 to just collect minifigures or buy parts on Bricklink. I've realized that I also don't love some of the sets I bought in the past. Did I really need Jabbas Palace and the Rancor pit? I also have no knowledge of how to sell them, so they're just collecting dust at my dad's house, which is where a lot of my toys stay since I have no room here. The good thing is that, my girlfriend and I are looking for a new place to move in to around August, so I might have space to display my toys once that rolls around. Will I have money to spend of new toys? Depends, but probably not and that's fine. I've started to realize that I don't need more toys and instead I need to enjoy the ones I have now.

Throw out the boxes, and don't try to display everything at once. Buy some plastic tubs or something to store what you don't have on display, and rotate your collection every now and then.

Which each "theme" takes up a self
And regular lego which is under my bed in about 5 different containers or varying sizes
I plan to buy more lego and a bunch of mythic legions (which preorder are happening end of month so join us) which shouldn't be too much of a problem

I feel more like i dont take up ENOUGH space for my toys. I want to make all these cool team displays, and a space for vehicles. My sterilite cabinets cant hold anymore sometimes that i have to smoosh everything in there and things get bent

I ask myself this all the time, but I guess it comes down to why do collect them is it enjoyment or value? Are you going to resell so keep the boxes? If I run out of room I sometimes rotate my displays.

The only boxes I keep are for my Figuarts. Everything else I have to tear the box open or don't really need it since they come with small bags to keep the accessories in anyway.

I have 1 detolf I like to have, and I have stuff I swap around on my desk.

I cycle stuff from shelf to container and if I never want to bring it out of th container or box again I sell it.

I keep all my boxes in this surprisingly tall closet I have. I also save boxes for when I sell.

I have a little 3 drawer plastic thing on my desk with misc accessories, a drawer with baggies of accessories (mainly SH), and a drawer full of stands
