Pricing the item itself with stickers is starting to become a small-store thing, the bigger stores or supermarkets just rely on the cards but they're all being swept into the void so you really don't have much choice. You either take it to the register or you check the machine(which are also becoming less common around here). We don't really have scanning apps for our stores like in the US
