>>6846925I meant more subtle, personal things, but vulgarities and racial slurs did play a part in getting the current President of the United States into his position of power.
I meant more in the Morrisonian way, though: the idea that words, terms, can actually have tangible, real-world power; that concepts and noumenons are inextricably linked, maybe even in the Platonic sense (the essential things are ideas) or something like the Phytagorean sense (the essential things are numbers). Numbers aren't usually words, except in higher mathematics and gematria, and we do ascribe meaning to certain numbers, such as 4 ('Death' in Japan) or 13 in the Western cultures. 12 and 13 are auspicious numbers, which is of course why the Primes (Prime numbers?) number either 12 or 13, depending on how you count. 12 tribes, 12 disciples plus the embodiment of God (Optimus, whose main characteristic is that he sacrifices his life for the good of all, then returns from the dead) himself, with one of the twelve being a traitor / a fallen. It's kind of too bad they have two Primes filling that role, it breaks the similarity.
There are two holy sets of twelve in this context, of course: the Primes (and their unholy parody, the Functionist Council) and the -primordial- Covenant of Primus which represents the classical Zodiac, which also forms the basis of the spiritual quartet Lion/Bull/Eagle/Human, where the eagle actually represents Ophiuchus, the snake bearer - the thirteenth sign of the Zodiac.
An eagle carrying a venomous snake in its talons, dropping it onto its prey/enemies while remaining safely high above - that sounds a lot like Liege Maximo (whose signature weapon were the venomous Liegian Darts) / Starscream.
