I don't have any or care that much for them, but i don't hate them either. Their beady eyed abstracted style is fine and i get their appeal. I will say that it fits best for characters with an already recogiscable design. So your distinctly coloured and shaped batmans and nemesises and super marios work really well, but the many regular human characters from some drama tend to be unrecogniscable.
Since they can't really pose and do much, keeping them in boxes is a lesser evil.
And really, i've seen worse attempts for these types of toys. Remember mighty muggz? Now those were fucking awful, both graphicdesign and shape that rarely or never worked together. Muggs sprouted from the Dunny and designer toy hype but tapped into the more conventional popculture market. While i still don't really care, atleast Funko Pops did so more succesfully.
>>6849970Not sure if you're referring to the fanbase in the americas around hotwheels specifically, but don't talk shit about my diecast vroomvrooms. I especially like people that customize and refurbish them, I follow this guy BaremetalHW on youtube and his videos are great. Puts a lot of love and ingenuity in them.

"X is extreme and an outlier!" "Therefor X is worthwhile!". Much like how newfags use "spicy" regurgitated memes because "X is seen often and is subversive and desisive, if i post it i will make an impact on discussion and get attention/be cool!" because of Poe's law.
