I think your collection is awesome for the minimalist style. As for pointers, could the gauntlet fit in the detolf? Having the helmet and gauntlet opposite from each other in the top shelf of the display would be great for symmetry of the room. As for the TV storage-display, being able to see the wires run along the units and power-bar in the background is a bit distracting. Maybe try pulling the shelving unit away from the wall a tad, taping the wires to go along the bottom/hiding the power bar would help. Of course, filling these areas with more figures and statues over time would also help how empty it looks.

Here's my current display. Still need to wire LEDs for 2 of the Detolfs and pickup another of those things on the right side.

The only thing i can say is to not have more than like 5 near eachother. The problem is transformers are a very visually loud toy line so if you have 50 on one shelf it just turns into a rainbow of panel lines and shapes.

Would look better if you could see the black figures against the black backgrounds, unless the slightly spooky look is what you're going for. It almost works with the alien since it's kind of like he's merging with the shadows or something, but with Darth it's just plain hard to make him out.

The camera doesn't pick it up that well, it stands out better in person.

I do plan on putting in some kind of background later, though. Not sure if I should go for a flat color, relevant mixes of color and shape, or actual photo backgrounds.

I've swapped out the hardballer for the uzi and switched to the wounded eye head on my terminator since I took the picture.

Looks nice, I'd like to recommend you figure out a better wiring solution though. I did some wire splicing to put all my dioder strips in 2 sequences in one detolf, it's pretty doable.

I've seen your collection on the Nintendo General threads. I really like Mario and Bower shelves. I'm a little iffy on that wiring though. Looks like random spaghetti draped on your detolf. Definitely look into some double sided velcro and/or zip ties to fix that up.

I also dig the Thomas Jefferson collection. Random as fuck, but it's cool to see something besides the usual Transformer/Star Wars/Anime shit. Personally, I'd laminate that 20 dollar bill just to make it look display-able. Either that or look into an actual clear sleeve for it.

Got it off eBay, I actually bought 2 of the horses and 3 Ganondorfs as none of them where complete and some of them had scuffs and one of the horses had its ears broken off. Yeah I’m a little worried but 80% is on it and it’s not near anything to bump into, I actually have another one that’s on a single square that I put an L bar on top to stabilize it

I leave mine on all the time, honestly. They are hooked up to a wall socket on a light switch, so it's easy to flip them on and off. My office is poorly lit though, so that's part of it. I've been meaning to have some ceiling can lights installed, so maybe I'll change my opinion, but I think they make my collection look less like a bunch of plastic posed on shelves and more like a display I take deliberate care of.

Yeah, that's the Batman Forever batwing. Probably my favorite representation of the Batwing...but that may be due to nostalgia (as a 90's kid, I actually liked the old live action Batman movies).

Just got the cases for the minifigs today. The figures themselves are far from complete but the furnishing is all there. The bottom is the top of a 9 cube storage shelf, but I'm replacing the drawers atm so I just cropped them off. The whole thing is in an alcove in my office.
