>>6863007One of the new companies alone has almost a dozen releases planned for the next half year.
Hot Soldiers has split into two companies.
That's on top of the existing lines from from IF and DX9. Most aren't double dipping on characters the way the MPs were doing. IF has their weird IDW niche. That new company with the alien boy on their logo seems to be just doing Sunbow designs. Hot Soldiers and DX9 are kinda their own thing.
I'm willing to drop $10 for the Hasbro Legends, but only the original 11 Mini bots. $35+ for that scale isn't happening.
I'm not convinced that Maketoys Cross Dimensions will ever see another new release, so I'm going to check out Mayhem Mekanics Unrustables for a new series robot toy fix. There's only two main robots and the red one is going to be sold at cons this summer. Those should be fun to mix and match with the weapons, heads and rider packs.
Their second mold won't be ready til mid 2019, if they get it funded. It's a smaller biker that should be cheaper. They floated about six or seven possible color combinations for that one.
I might check out the odd MMC when it's something cool like Nitro Prime from Galaxy Force or Thunderclash/Calidus.
Other than that, my robot budget is open and on the prowl for something new.
Seriously thinking about the GT Sunbow Beasties.
