>>6862114the "wow" factor of the special effects wore off fast and the fact it's a plot ripoff of Dark City, with reused Dark City sets all because WB bullied the DC makers with lawsuit threats(claiming the title was too close to the Travolta bomb "Mad City") hasn't really done it any favors over the years. The creators going nuts also hasn't helped nor the sequels being complete shit.
The plot was also pretty dumb. I get Agent Smith being trouble because the program went rogue against even the Matrix itself, but why seek freedom to live in a burned out world that can barely be called habitable?
