Is this figure -that- bad? I mean...as far as i know the only thing people complain about is his standing problems and tail made of 2 hinges.

To me this figure looks fucking badass. Should i get it? Im not going to buy all figures to build it and going to buy it already built from one guy that selling it for 70$.
should i get Lizard?

He's a nice big figure, and the more dino-esque head has grown on me. But yeah, the legs can be a bitch to get him standing in a proper way. It doesn't help that the leg that comes with Prowler is always loose in the knee.

I've had no problem getting him to stand, but you need to use his tail as a tri-pod.
The big problem is that the knee joints are sculpted in a way that prevents you from straitening his legs out, so hes always in a kind of crouch.
Otherwise I absolutely love him

He could've been better but no he's not bad at all. Really the main sticking point for people is the limited knees and the dino head. With the latter I just like to pretend it's inspired from a Komodo Dragon or some other Monitor Lizard, especially if you pull his head back so he looks less Raptor-y.

Also what many reviewers fail to mention is that you can get him into a pretty convincing crouching/crawling pose which is a huge plus. I'd post pics but I was unlucky in getting one with a defective torso in which the left shoulder socket wasn't assembled properly.

It’s worst offense is adding pointless articulation that appears to be added just to keep in line with the other figures in the marvel legends line.

Good luck once his knees loosen or deform over time while standing on his own weight. The upper half of the figure is great, the lower half is a trianwrck of unthoughtful design.

Ah screw it, I'll post a pic anyway. Here's the pose I have in mind once I get the torso replaced.

Anon here >>6856390 is right though, he'll have balancing issues if you keep him in a standard upright position. That said, that won't really be an issue for me since I prefer posing my Lizard on all fours, with his feet/toes mostly flat on the ground (you know, like a lizard instead of a dinosaur).

I almmost agree with you--the only thing is that Lasher, who was one of my favorite toys/designs as a kid, looks like absolute shit. He's a lazy repaint with bad colors and a bad build for the character. He should be beefier, his tendrils are all wrong (I also happen to hate the sculpt on those ultimate Venom tendrils), and god, I wish they'd used a proper aqua/dark grey color scheme.

This is hugely disappointing to me, especially since Lasher is so niche that we'll probably never get another figure of him.

That's my only real complaint with the wave, other than the fact that Gwenpool seemed to be a mid-production replacement for Demogoblin who was part of all the earlier leak lists. And that we for some reason needed boring-costume Spider-Woman in the wave for some reason as well. Double packing Mysterio and swapping around the BAF parts so someone came with the head and tail would've been a better move.

Honestly if Lasher didn't have the Superior Venom feet I'd feel at least 25% better about him, and that would be such an easy change to give him normal ones.

I think I've finally pinpointed what was bugging me most about BAF Lizard. It's the eyes, they're ridiculously small for a head that size.
