That price isn't horrible. Sentinel puts out stuff for around that much that probably isn't as well-built. Still, I wonder how much of the price is just Bandai price gouging.

This is actually gonna sell. Bandai picked the right robots to sell at this markup. A lot of collectors over here are planning to hoard it strictly because it IS Voltes V.

Beyond that though, it's highly unlikely it'll survive.

You just have to look out. HLJ and amiami have sales every now and then. Sentinel stuff gets like $50-$100 price reductions. You can also check mandarake.

Definitely better value than Metal Build and Metal RD.

Metal Builds do have 100% diecast frames though.

SoC FA probably shares engineering and construction within their line but it will be difficult to tell if they will have ratchets and lot so diecast.
