It'll depend on your area, but here in Edmond, the Target has put most of the Marvel Legends on clearance.

This includes Ego and Valkyrie 2-packs, including the 3 inchers, any remaining MU figures, the 12" black suit Spidey, and fucking finally those Guardians 1 figures.

Got an email alert from BBTS that they had Vision and SW available for pre-order. 24 hours later already sold out. Anyone know: is the Thor, Rocket and Groot pack at Target or was it slated for TRU? I'm probably going to want all the IW figures, unfortunately. Drives me nuts that there's two Thors, though. Would've been really cool to get Corvus or Ebony Maw with the Cull Obsidian wave rather than two of the same f'ing character.

I'm sure I'm late on this but legends iron spider is pretty cool. The hip articulation could be a little better for doing spider stuff, but compared to the jacked proportions and sloppy paint of the homecoming one, it's a masterpiece. All it needed was SOME GODDAMNED HANDS COME ON

She's not super-heard to find, Blade and Daredevil are harder to find, Elektra is usually the pegwarmer. I would give Target a try, they've been getting more cases of that wave lately while most Walmarts are drowning in Ragnarok and Black Panther stragglers like Namor.

Yep, lot of flop in the recent stuff. Iron spider, taskmaster, proxima and iron man from the IW one all have either a loose ankle or fucked up ratchets on their knees. Similar but not as bad with MCU vision and mysterio. The knee thing is the worst because there's not really anything you can do about it aside from just jamming superglue and praying it gets in deep enough.

Does anyone know of a way to easily remove paint? I want to use homecoming spider-man's fists on iron spider, but the panel lining they did clashes way too hard.

I've used nail polish remover to scrub an emblem off a legends' chest before, but that took forever and that was on a flat surface, not recessed like the webbing.

Hasbro needs to change it up and do an army building BAF wave. Each figure comes with an upper or lower body part. Buy two figures to complete someone - a whole wave will make 3 goons/soldiers/whatever. Hell, a six figure that makes two figures would do. Just no more Okoye/Mantis waves.

Mantis was done as a BAF because of two reasons:

1. Most of the figures from her wave were repaints of existing GOTG figures so they needed a member of the team as BAF to make people rebuy older figures with new hat/deco

2. She required new tooling for her mold and they could only justify spending it by making her the BAF

I think it was partially because she's a pretty significant part of the movie and half the action scenes involve her, and partially because they knew they could do it since she shares like 90% of the same parts as Nakia. That means they get more bang for their mold.

Between the two, Fixer's costume is cooler than Techno, and he has that cool flying astro-glider device.

Atlas would be a gimmie in terms of an eventual BAF but I would not trust Hasbro not to do him in his blah Goliath costume

Radioactive Man should have been released by now, especially since they did an upscale version of Tiger Shark

Jolt would be an iffy one. She's persona non grata with SJW Marvel for the sin of existing before the rise of SJW Marvel so she probably won't get a figure.

I think there's just enough for a second set. Cage, Iron Fist, and Kingpin (a non-BAF version, he's frankly not that big) would be the only ones I'd say are solid, but they'd need at least one more character to match the first wave, then pad the next two slots with some non-Netflix characters.

I'm just struggling to figure who else would go in that last slot. Kilgrave, maybe? Colleen? Diamondback in-costume? Out of those I think only Kilgrave would sell and I'm not really sure if he would. They've kind of run out of major characters that aren't just "dude in suit/street clothes."

Speaking of comic characters, they could throw in Classic Luke Cage, an Iron Fist villain, Comic Jigsaw, Mister Hyde since we got Cobra, one of the Diamondback designs and an alternate version of the Purple Man released in The Raft set. Seems he'll be joining the ranks of Ghost and Ulik for solo releases though.

I only have half (the two Pools and X-23) but they're solid. My X-Force Deadpool feels about as solid as the figure its a repaint of, and the classic Deadpool is totally fine. Laura feels more solid than most of the figures on that mold too.

This is on another level.
Check out the beautiful wash on the engine to make it look like not a cheap 99¢ store bike. Look at that shading. Look at them airbrushed highlights. The exhaust pipes are molded seperately from the bike.
All this is adding to a higher standard of detail you don't find on the Hasbro bike.

This was included with their $8 Marvel Legend figure that features more articulation and paint than current MLs.

I mean, these box sets cost fucking $40. Ok, that's acceptable because they're giving you a motorcycle, instead of boss deals like Toy Biz used to, but that's $20 extra bucks.
For $15 you can buy a diecast motorcycle with a ton of little details molded in a bunch of seperate pieces to keep it detailed as fuck. The paint may not be as great, but it's still more than what you see on Hasbro's.

Hasbro's motorcycle sets are a huge rip off and look like they're made by Mattel.
No excuses.

Got this in today thanks to Amazon’s same day shipping. Gotta say the set is the shit. Worth it for that DD and Luke Cage alone. The jewel costume JJ looks like ass and ill be replacing her with the netflix one in my display. The IF is nice too but I think I like the strange wave one better. Wish he did come with some extra hands or at least the translucent iron fist. Anyways I reccomend it if youre on the fence. The comic style box is pretty cool too.

The unmasked head was because they don't have rights to Michael Keaton's likeness. And while it is strange that a Ghost Rider was released sans bike, it's pretty obivous why they didn't cram the thing in the box and sell it for $20.
But Punisher's trigger fingers were an obvious goof, so I'll give you that.
