None of this shit happened and retailers aren't even allowed to detain customers, least of all over a fake coupon. That is just asking for a lawsuit. At most, all you could do was ban the customer from the store. Not to mention, those coupons were legit and didn't start to fail until after Hasbro caught wind of folks printing them off and even then, stores still honored them for a while because employees had no idea what to do so they just went with "the customer is always right" and manually entered the $5 discount.
Basically, you're full of shit and retailers will go out of their way to appease customers, even if they suspect they might be full of shit.
