Yup, tons of exhausts. The point is to make it as ridiculous as possible. I'm afraid the single spoiler won't be enough.

The lettering was done in Photoshop, but I have some Letraset sheets that I hope will do the job. I'm not sure of the vanity plate yet, so if you have suggestions...

(Attached here is an older pic, the whole build is still in progress)

There isn't really that many options for kneejoints in that scale. Mixel joints are out of question, CCBS balls even with friction adders couldn't really support the weight. Best option would probably be ratchet joints from those Knights Knigdom ultrabuilds and even those I don't if they would work

I'm sure I've missed an angle, but here's my actual opinion:

Off-brand Lego is usually that- off. Not quite it. Clutch is too tight or too loose, color consistency is even worse than Lego's stuff. And if there's something wrong with your set, Lego will happily supply you with replacement parts no questions asked.

Of course it's not real Lego. Just look at the prices. Given that, I've ordered a few figures from various stores there and the quality is pretty decent for what you pay. The fit on some parts is pretty tight and hard to move on their own, but the visual quality is on point. Really great for wanting to set up a mass collage of figures you don't intend on playing with or desk toppers or something.

Ah ok. Can't speak on behalf of the sets, just the single sale minifigs. I would assume the sets are still knock off and are as inconsistent on quality that the figures are, but it's nothing that is difficult to work through. Sets are most likely still worth the price if they're still at a fraction of the real retail prices.

Me and my friend work at target. The other night we were shelving items and noticed we had boxes of the series at collectibles. We opted to shelf them and ended up getting 4 policemen out of the 5 boxes we had in store. Feels pretty good.

Starting to look way better man! The bigger wheels and fueltanks make it feel way more robust and heavy, the small details really make it pop and come to live! (except for those STAAAMPS)
Photographing stuff really is an art in and off itself. It takes me a crazy long time to make something look semi-nice. You did well trying to isolate the build from distracting environment. People often photograph things on a big piece of paper that curves upward behind it like pic related. With enough and diffuse enough lighting the background kind of disappear. Using a timer and a (mcguyvered) tripod to hold the camera at the same height when rotating your subject does wonders too.
I'd love to see some shots from the front and the hinge mechanism!

Yeah I understand man. But while it might be cringeworthy on some celebrity persona worship level, the fact that people liked his manchild character enough to genuinely feel sad is kind of bittersweet and nice.
I listen to this dumb music genre that people in my country almost unanimously label as retarded. Went to my local Lego store today. (About a little over an hour each way)

Did 2 PAB large cups to make myself feel good with pieces I wanted.

Got 8 of the new Season 18 figures. I didn't get the policeman as they had three boxes in their initial shipment and I think the store employees ended up with them. However the employee was feeling the bags and telling me what was what so I bought the ones I wanted. So they weren't really blind. The employee was 100% accurate too.

I also got a 31075 3in1 Outback Adventure because I want to modify it into a Jeep Wrangler. (I'm a Jeep guy)

I also spent enough to get the free MiniFig Factory giveaway.

During my visit it was the build-able monthly challenge and I was like oooh can I do one? At first they were like nooo... Then they were like sure! They were having kids do them while still sealed in the bag. So that's how I did mine. My first ever! Cute little frog!

I meant to get a catalog and next months calendar but forgot to ask...

On the way home I stopped off for my LetGo purchase and although it was a good deal it wasn't a great deal. About a 1/3 of it was non-Klocki. Damn MegaBlocks! But it was still worth the $20. (I've just gotten better deals before.) All in all a pretty fun day.

Oh and the real kicker... I asked them to call me when and if another case comes in so I can get my policeman. (I hope) Like I said it's a haul in time and gas to get there. My local Walmart will never get these in and this is my best hope for a policeman.

I've bought full boxes several time. Plenty of dealers are willing to sell the box for a slight markup if you're willing to pay. Most stores don't care enough to stop you from buying a box if you have the money. 60 sales over a month or one big sale is all the same money to them.

If we start from "Lego is a business and wants to make money" we can instantly discount the theory that says "they make this one fig super rare so everyone wants it and fights over it". That super rare figure will still get bought for the regular price, even by a scalper. Any money made after that will be made by a scalper, bricklink seller or whatever. Lego gets none of that.

Instead, just look at the figure. It's super plain. Kids who have gotten used to amazing printing and detailing will probably think it sucks. They've gotten way better police officers over the years. They don't get nostalgic over stuff that happened 35 years before they were born, if they even realize it's a re-release of something old.

Nevertheless, Lego chose that having hundreds and thousands of slightly disappointed kids wasn't a big enough detriment to give a relatively small amount of adult fans something they'd really like. (Twist this all you want; the primary market for Lego is still kids. Always will be. Pissing them off is a gamble for Lego.)

Was just putting a hand in an arm which was super difficult to do, hand snapped off and the rest is lodged in the arm with almost nothing to grab onto. Have a spare luckily, but how do I get the stub out of the arm?

That's the thing, I was using somewhat of a tiny bar to help push the hand (because my thumb is sore as shit already and the bar makes the hand much less painful) and I guess I put too much pressure at the wrong angle and next thing I know, hand on bar, wrist inside arm. Trying a temporary super glue fix to see if it looks good enough as-is or if I can pull the hand out after it completely dries, otherwise yeah Bricklink is what I'll be looking at if it bothers me that much. Luckily it's only a solid black arm and hand, but it still sucks regardless.

Black arm and a black hand, currently in US. I'm >>6879712. tl:dr, was pushing hand into arm, wasn't fitting, put hand into a small pipe to make pushing easier on my thumb, must have put too much pressure on it at a wrong angle and poof, hand was stuck on the pipe while the peg was stuck in the arm. Tried heating a needle to shove into the peg to pull it out when it cooled down, couldn't get the needle in.

Currently have the hand glued onto the broken peg and unless you're up close it looks fine, it's just pretty fragile and I can't angle the hand and am stuck with it being parallel to the arm. Biggest concern with using Bricklink to get the 2 parts is if I break the torso trying to get the old arm out and new one in and if that risk is worth it given that this figure along with the other ones are mostly just going to stand at attention as something to look at.

Removing the arm's more likely to crack the torso than popping one in, take it out before you place the order.

Best way to do it is pic related, snap it out quickly rather than trying to gently wiggle it out.

Yeah I've read about how removing the arm makes it possible to crack the torso. Given that most of these arms are a bitch to get in in the first place I might actually just wait until I order another mass amount of figures and get a dup and use the current one for backup parts considering I would imagine how much more riskier these knockoffs are as far as arm removal based torso cracks go. There's a guy on ebay that's selling ten random minifigs for $10. Everyone here who's gotten them seems to be pleased. They're actually canon minifigs, not just "a bunch of random minifig parts slapped together".

You might have better luck in the plastic building block general thread. It moves slower but everyone there seems familiar with multiple brands for comparison.

I got some enlighten stuff which is supposedly the best quality knock off, and the figs were not great. Arms were loose. Hands were such a tight fit it felt like they might break trying to rotate. Some of the brands that just do minifigs might be better, but I wouldn't expect anywhere near lego quality from any of them.

I've done some selling as of lately and that has taken up a lot of time. I don't want people coming to me house and meet in a public place and I find 1/3 of the time it's a no show or people try to get a reduction after we have agreed upon a price.

It sucks because I've got so much non Lego from the buys that I can't get anything for it but refuse to toss it. It took a lot to short out of my Lego.

Finding the small plates with ball-joint and ball-socket is a nightmare, I don't know where or how to find them neither on LDD nor Stud.io.

Note to self... Don't buy Klocki in the torrential rain at night in a Burger King parking lot. No matter how much of a great deal you might think you are getting. In all fairness what I got for short money in Lego was still worth it. :-)

I ended up with a bunch of these dangling adverts that I don't really have use for. The stickers are unused if you want to slap them onto your shelf or something. If anyone has even any passing interest, I can mail them to you as long as you pay for the shipping.

Soak it in Simple Green for a couple days. That'll dissolve the glue and then you can just rinse it off with hot soapy water. SG also works for spray paint or other hard-to-remove material but it doesn't react to ABS so it won't harm the piece at all.

They're still useful for structural purposes, but yeah, the smaller bricks have almost replaced the standard 2x4 stud brick. Probably because modern Lego sets are more detailed.
