>>6886277He seems to be in denial that he makes toys and even slaps "ADULT COLLECTIBLE - NOT A TOY" on the packages of 5 POA reaction figures, which are clearly toys. He believes Super7 is some high end adult collectible company despite the fact most of what they have made has been novelty goodies and 5 POA figures, much of which is based on retro toys. MOTUC is their first venture into a complex, articulated line and they have fucked it up at every step. He takes NO responsibility, content to let the factories do as they please without supervision or management, asks fans to "deal with it" every time the factories fuck up, then claims "oh we switched factories, buy the new stuff, it'll be better" EVERY. DAMN. TIME.
Their fanboys eat it up too, defending this. It amazes me how many people hated Reaction when Funko handled it. Everyone bitched about the $10 retail price. Super7 takes the brand back, charges $15 plus postage, and the fans act like the price is a bargain? It's now almost double!
He-man.org is in the tight grip of Mattel's lawyers and has a zero tolerance policy on critiquing these companies. The fans sucked off Mattel's garbage for so many years they're used to the abuse. I have seen comments to the effect of "it's ONLY $35, what do you expect?" to defend these QC issues. I expect the toys to not fucking break and features to not be canned without warning after we've paid the preorder price, that's goddamned what! If your standards are so low that a $35 action figure breaking is acceptable to you, you are a fucking moron.
