They should be on discount in at least most targets. Same goes with the classic version that's based on the SOC mold.

On my local shelves it was brought in the middle of last year. About 3 months later the distributor was selling it directly for 40% discount and now they are selling it for 70% discount. I find it too big though.

This. Clearance is literal, they want the stuff gone just to make room for new stuff. If the space is available, there's no reason to put something on clearance just because it isn't moving fast.

My local toy shop says this Voltron version is coming out in August.
