>>6893667But what makes more money at the end of the day, a limited release product built up to the wall with quality paint and complication or releasing millions of happy meal toys aimed at a far more broad audience?
As for the current mp aesthetic its annoying, they shifted from cool looking robots to MUH SHOW ACCURACY and the fact we're getting a new optimus prime is gonna piss off alot of people, myself included and I own 3 mp based primes, and design wise too we don't need them to be engineering wankfest like mp36, just something that makes you think "a-ha" rather than "READ THIS BOOK OR SOMETHING IS GONNA BREAK"
And don't remind me of the qc, I have the mp coneheads, that said ironically enough my diabattles actually has a rare case of poor qc, one of the arm connector ports was misaligned and ended up being refunded, I actually bought this one for $90australian dollars and just bashed the connector in with a hammer, not pretty but its functional, have yet to hear about other examples
Really as much as I love mp10 era tf's and diaclone I want a middle ground and for retail figures to go back to generations style, studio series is on the right track if not for poor qc
