>>6920146I started with a couple from Haunted and a couple from Freak du Chic, so a lot of the older ones around that time or older skyrocketed in price online (especially the original first dolls).
It's a bummer a lot of stores don't carry them anymore (and if they do it's the ones where their arms don't move much), I like seeing them in person and being able to pick out the one that doesn't have the wonky eyes issue or something. I've had that happen once or twice already when I've gotten a couple of them online.
Keep checking older stores though; I got shipwrecked Catrine Demew and Frankie Stein (First day of school version) at Big Lots a couple days ago. They were listed at $12 and $15 but when I got to the register they run up $6 and $7 so they were on sale. It was a very picked over section so there wasn't much left, but it was way cheaper than getting them on Amazon. Plus now I have a Catrine that doesn't have wonky eyes, so that's a plus. Also one time I got one at Five and below for $5 and one of the tall Dracularas from Toys R Us for around $5 when they were clearanced out.
