or, if you have a lot of the same parts, you can sell them by piece type (bricks, plates, etc.). You could also sell them as a bulk unsorted lot, but you'd probably get less money that way.

You could also consider getting a Bricklink store and selling them there, but that would require you to sort them all out and maintain an accurate count of your inventory.

Almost finished sorting out my PAB cup. Among the highlights are these round tiles which I was in desperate need of. However, these weren't in the regular bins, they were at the bottom of the sweepings bin.

Three hundred and sixty tiles, each picked out one at a time. I probably would have gotten a lot more if I had been able to just scoop them out.

Lots of fun stuff in the BAM bins. Interestingly, the red and yellow short leg were only used for Lisa Simpson and Milhouse but they're in the bins now. I meant to grab another torso but I forgot to put it in my pack before I checked out and didn't realize it until I left the mall.

As far as smaller sets go the build wasn't anything groundbreaking. The chariot body is kinda neat how they did the SNOT for the front and the 'wings' action feature. I wouldn't say it's worth building unless you plan to play/display it. It is a great parts pack for the unusual parts/colors and a cheap goblin. As far as deals I don't know what 14eu exchanges to, but 24 sounds like a rip off. It was $20 here and I'm seeing it marked down to $16. It seems like a pretty standard $20 set if not a little over priced because a lot of the parts budget goes into the horse.

One of the best sets Lego makes right now. It's best as a display though and is not very good scale with minifigs. The parts value is good, especially for ship mocs.

Most rollercoasters aren't exactly pleasing to the eye, let alone as buildable toy set. Only a wooden coaster would look great, but one made out of lego would have an insane part count. Lego could have cheaped out with the design by using huge Technic pieces, but they opted for a more realistic design that mimics the tubular support beams. The result is that while the set has a high price for a shitload of pieces, but lacks the insane amount of detail like the merry-go-round has, for example. A rollercoaster doesn't have that much detail.
I do like that they included two trains and what appears to be an elaborate chain-lift mechanism and transfer table.

So the first batch of Series 18s had it there. Several restocks later and the spot is moved to 4rth from the back in the left lane. I've also been told there are some boxes with the cop third from the front in the right lane. Most stores only got boxes from the first batch so it didn't matter if the other batches were different.

Ragana's Castle is the weakest of the three Elves antagonist castles in terms of design. It's big, but there are no interesting techniques involved, the color blocking is messy, its visual motifs are halfhearted, and it doesn't look that much like an actual building. Noctura's tower does all that better at half the size.

The hair pictured there is actually pretty lousy as parts go. It was made for the Hobbit sets and designed to fit over a quiver, but as a result, it ends up jutting out weirdly off the back and shoulders. I like the look of the hair that comes in that set, though.

I would be surprised if many people in this thread have heard of Tuesday Morning, as it mostly deals with home decor and closeout goods. Think of an even more downscale TJ Maxx. A word of warning: distribution is kind of random to the point where I leave it off my list of regular places to check for toys. Discounts aren't good enough to justify the trip, either. Although, I find it's sometimes worth checking if you're looking for something from a dead building block line (ex. Kre-O, Ionix). They even carry Lego from time to time. Just not with any sort of predictability.

It's harder than it seems to build something accurate from a single picture. If you gave someone all the bricks and said build a castle, they could easily come up with something decent, but building with such a specific image in mind is a different thought process.

For me it's more than i blew quite some money recently and now should get into other uni stuff. The weather definately doesn't help. It makes me more tired, harder to concentrate. So doing stuff outside feels more appropiate now.

I hope it's true. I mean,we've gotten sets based on Jurassic World,Star Wars and Harry Potter and they had worse deaths than MIB. So I know this used to be a problem with old MegaBlocks circa mid 90s and I'm wondering if this is at all a problem with current Lego
(I stopped playing with Lego in 2000 when I started middle school, so I have no idea what the product is like now)
If I have my Lego minifigs connected to a baseplate or just any studded piece, sitting or standing, will their stud holes stretch out over time or possibly break/form stress cracks?
Apparently if I have them hold items their hands will stretch out over time, will those form stress cracks over time?

I think allot of the Ninjago movie villain vehicles were in sand blue, and they're starting to clearance here in burger land. There's a 15 dollar capeshit set with a bunch of it, the one with Groot and Thor. 15 bones would get you a ton of sand blue on bricklink, I expect.

Basically everything except the really big sets. Generally it's 10-20% off, but I have see them do 50% off stuff that they really want to get rid of.
Last year they had Jestro's Lair (which was normally ~$150) for like $90.

The thing that I like the most about it, is that during the sale they extend the layby period from 10 weeks to "Until Christmas", so I normally end up putting $1k-$2k worth of Lego on layby and pay it off over the next 5 or so months.
The first time I did it, I payed about $1000 for the whole haul. I then sat down and worked out that if I had of payed full price at Big W, I would payed something like $1200+ and if I had of bought it all through Lego I would have payed well over $1400.

Dunno, maybe the CMFs and the non-CMFs are made in different factories with different materials.

All I know is that I pop a lot of arms in and out of torsos and the CMF torsos feel noticeably different when I do it. Much less of a reverberation.

Have you had any CMFs crack on you?

So its 420 and I've decided to pop open some of these fig bags I got (tlbm 2nd wave x4) series 17 x3, Mountain fugitives, green cheeky Kroc box, and I'll never know where this came from but a series 10 bag (feels like Cyclops due to club). Hopefully my mod family home and poolside vacation arrive today.

Also any creator mods I should be on the lookout for? Outback adventures will be had soon but any other suggestions folks?

I've heard that a 3rd party is handling the out of business sale, which would make sense because a lot of those sets are regularly 10-20% off, and some are still higher priced than walmart.

Every mom and pop toy store closing sale I've been to doesn't even discount lego at all. A lot of those sets they can just sit on and they will appreciate in value after they are off shelves. I'm kind of suprised they didn't go through on an item by item basis and adjust that way, because that destiny's bounty will still be worth $160 next year and some of those buildable figures couldn't move for $5 at any point in time.

On their website, they're still selling most of their sets ABOVE the MSRP. At the local store, they've got the 5% going too, but they've often marked up the larger sets by five or ten bucks, so it's not even a discount.

Instead of focusing on making the game pretty, they should've had normal graphics and a shitton of heroes, more players per match (40 is pathetic), planet-to-space combat.

I remember the original version of unikitty her head wasn't very stable. Whatever the new assembly ends up being it's probably meant to remedy how fragile the oiginal is.
