Hey guys what's up.
I really like fighter planes. But I'm having a hard time finding any toys of them. I don't want them to be too huge, but I'd like for them to have some good detail on them.
What do you guys recommend? I've never built a non-snappable modelkit so I don't know about those things.

I'd start doing 1/72 model kits. Good detail and usually reasonably easy to put together, plus the kit itself is only like $10-15 or so. Pic's a 1/72 Hasegawa F-16D that I put together a while back, completely out of the box, to show the level of detail you can get up to.

Hasegawa 1/71s are the way to go? Do you have a size comparison, because that looks really nice for OOB.

There is a line of 1/72 assembled modern jets by a company called Easy Model. Pretty good price and good accurate detail.

Depends if you want to play with them or not. If not then kits are the way to go but if you are then a kit is over kill. Trust me, after you put that much work into a kit it’s hard to play rough with it, even then if you want it to be playable you have to sacrifice a lot of detail. A good die cast kit would be your bet then.
