Pa What we are getting is very average just after the Hasbro disaster we wound up will to except anything that wasn't straight up hidious and cartoon like the 2015 JW line Ni denying that the sculpts are movie accurate and ball joints are an amazing improvement I'll give th he m that but h he line doesn't have a high standard for articulation in the average figure, they could have expanded on the concept and style of the 2k9 figures or tried the style vivid did for the WWD Gorgon figures an nd it would have mad for a more complex line but they didn't possibly do to the license be dumped in their lap shortly before production of the new line maybe they wanted to keep things cheap only they know really.
The Legacy line could be done so much better the quality of it especially the paint jobs is heavily lacking and disappointing the prototypes look nothing like the final product unlike the main line were the prototypes are surpassed by the final product, this lack of standard is very disheartening for my expectations for the future of this line.
Mattel has shown that they can do amazing things with this line when they want to but don't make the standard for the entire line as it should be.
It can be very hit and miss with this line, on the one hand the Thrash n throw looks amazing on the other the Legacy Pteranodon looks cheap and ugly and the spinosaurus looks nothing like the one seen in the movie.
Another thing Mattel said they were hoping to give us a line like what kenner did back in the 90s but were are the real feel dinos and the Kenner style Dino damage they took more from hasbro in this respect hard plastic and sliding window Battle damage why it doesn't take much to do the design.
Any way the line isn't terrible it is by no means.
