Fucking amazing. Blows the shit out of Hasbro's embarrassment and then blows up the remains again. Here's hoping Mattel is able to wrangle Kenner stuff from Hasbro like the OC humans and Chaos Effect shit like what Neca did with their Alien and Predator stuff.
Only flaws are Chompin T-Rex and Spinosaur's stupid tongues and the leaping raptor having less articulation (Though the leaping feature is fun as fuck.).

I went nuts and bought all of the dinos in the line, even found the Walmart exclusive Colossal with sound. My favorites are the raptors, they did such a good job on the sculpting.

I have the original Kenner figures, and these are the next step Hasbro should have taken. The screw holes in the last abomination of a line really put the nail in the coffin.

And I love the Legacy 3.75" figures with the jeep. I really hope they continue with the legacy line and release the rest of the characters, and maybe even the Explorer.

My son loves these things, he's especially having fun with the remote control Gyrosphere.

Yeah one criticism I have regarding the raptor figure is the BEEG FEET.

I know they did it for stability reason, the realistic BOTM raptor cannot balance without stand but it looks so goofy. I would rather Mattel sculpt a regular sized feet for the raptors and then provide some sort of base to peg the raptor so it can stand on a shelf

Oh and another thing, I was worried about having to store the Colossal T-Rex. Guess what? Mattel designed it so you can remove the tail, unlike Hasbro when once you pop in a piece it's in there for good unless you want to risk breaking the connection point or prying open the figure/vehicle.

Well scale purists are one thing, the Colossal is an awesome figure. But it is WAY too big to fit in with anything that small. It just looks comical unless you have no idea how big Dinosaurs were.

You'd need some 6 inch figures to look more the part.

The middle T-Rex there is a little better, if not on the small side.

Colossal is in scale for 6 in figures. A lot of people have been wanting a true 1/12th Rex for a very very long time to chase around and eat their Spiderman figure or to fight Luke Skywalker

Anyone else find it strange that the raptors in the story pack and six-packs have better posability than the attack pack dinos?

Also, I haven't been able to find Indo or Carnotaurus yet. Are they part of the same assortment as the Stegosaurus?

Any word on us getting Roarivore hadrosaurs?

Hello newfriend. No hadrosaurs yet besides the mini-figs.

We're getting an ankylosaurus (wave 2) and a pachyrhinosaurus (wave 3) roarivore.

The Attack Pack is the "basic" or I introductory line. They don't have the hinge shoulders like the Roarivores or Battle Damage dinos.

However I like the attack pack simy because they don't have any distracting gimmicks.

They have limb swivels, some have laws that open and can tilt their heads.

I'm kind of regretting not getting the legacy pack, I'm not fond of the Cheeto Gallimimus but that Dilophosaurus looks great.
I ended up just getting the regular Gallimimus and a Grant, did I make the right choice?

The dilo is the only thing out that that I wanted (besides Grant, but he's not an exclusive). But it's the attack pack mold and it's pretty boring. I'm just gonna wait for the other dilophosaur mold to come out. It's basically those same colors.

Although none them are as good as any of these.

Canadian anon here, my nearby Walmart got a case of the smaller Battle Damage dinos. Picked up the Herrerasaurus and Stygimoloch, they look really nice. I passed on Blue as I'm still debating which version to get. The Triceratops and Pachycephalosaurus looked kind of bland so I didn't want to pick them up at full price. Looks like there's 2 Blues in an assortment and one of everything else.

Hoping to see the EC rex with Monolophosaurus show up in stores, I don't exactly have room for the colossal Rex and the TnT is kind of on the expensive side.

The leaker mentioned that the only reason they didn't do one yet was because the studio didn't want competition/confusion between the Indo dinos. We will definitely see one in the future should the line continue.

I honestly think both the T-Rex and Spinosaurus look cooler. Since they were going with a super hybrid design, I would have liked something a little more out there, a la Chaos Effect. I-Rex ended up looking like a pretty standard carnivore with albinism.

As many toys as I've bought over the years based on stuff I collected as a kid, I don't think I've ever been quite as nostalgic as I was when I saw these new JP toys on shelves.

The Dinos look great. They simultaneously capture the look of the old 90's JP toys, but still manage to have more detail and whatnot. Its also super nice to see such a great looking toyline at such a low price point. I'm kind of blown away at the figures that are in the $7-$8 price point, and the bigger dinos only being like, $20-$30 is pretty surprising. Seems like any other company would probably try to get away with charging twice the price with these.

Only downside is the human figures are kinda "eh." They look good, but the paint is pretty spotty, and Alan Grant's face looks horrible to me. The sad thing is, its a great likeness, be his cheeks are just so fat and melty-looking...Kinda looks like Sam Neill, if Sam Neill were a fat guy who had a stroke.

A lot of the Grants I've seen seem to have their eye printing just a smidge too low. I held out to find the best one I could and if you find with his eyes just that little bit higher I think it helps stretch out his face visually. His cheeks are too big though, and I've considered getting an extra and seeing if I could shave them down.

Two separate Indos. One is the guy we've seen for weeks, the other is the one that is yet to be released. This upcoming one is a little larger, and features an action feature very similar to the Thrash N Throw Rex, as well as sounds and light up eyes. Both have about the same articulation, but standard Indoraptor is more poseable. "IndoThrasher" has a better play feature, and has a more film accurate sculpt, but doesn't hold a pose well, similar to TnT rex.

The JP Legacy humans sell out pretty fast, Ellie seems to be the first one to go, followed by Muldoon and then Grant. I don't know what the case breakdown is but I think there's more Grants in the case. Local Targets are all pretty much picked clean, only some 3 packs and the small die cast cars are left.

I'm heavily debating the Thrash and Throw Rex and the Legacy one. Love the slightly more articulated Legacy one and really dig the play feature of the other plus being able to potentially fit the humans in the mouth a bit more. Just don't feel like spending 40 for the bigger one and feel like I'd regret picking up the smaller one. Or I should just say fuck it and buy both.

So, yeah Mattel slightly undersized the JP figures(as always), but they're still fairly close. You just have to pretend everyone in the movie is like 5 foot 3inches tall.

well that would be great but I'm guessing internationally it's done differently probably according to the store chains that are in certain countries or regions like Smyths carrying the legacy line in the UK though if they do distribute them to Walmart in the good ol US of A that would be awesome to have 2 exclusive lines in one store though I've never heard of it before this would be a first for sure.
