I recently got a couple of toys with LED features and such, and wanted to try them out. But after spending tens of dollars and going through fistfuls of those button cell batteries, I'm finding that the majority of the ones on the market seem to be dead, or at least so close to it that they can't fully power anything. I know it's not the toys being defective, cause with certain batteries I do get an incredibly weak glow for a few seconds.

What is the deal here? Does anyone know how to definitively get good ones? I've tried buying from different places, following tips about checking expiration dates and such, different companies...all of them have been useless. Dead button cell batteries are apparently an epidemic, if Amazon reviews are anything to go by. Help me /toy/, you're my only hope.
