Most stayed the same price or even lowered
The Amazing Yamaguchi Marvel Revos have been getting re-releases and show up on Mandarake for pretty much retail price, maybe a bit less in some cases

Right now, they're probably gonna make the most out of the Marvel license. The Revos are being pretty well-received and selling well despite all the sculpt complaints
Yamaguchi is still doing Evangelion Revos and they might make more ANIMA stuff after Super Evangelion 01
Other than that it's hard to say, Kaiyodo/Revoltech always went for kind of random stuff that you wouldn't expect, unlike GSC/figma which tends to go mostly after current airing anime. Bandai's been heading into that direction too
Personally, after seeing Yamaguchi's Carnage, I think he'd do well with Parasyte figures but I think the license might be hard/impossible to get

Non-stylized humans are far from his strength.

I think Kenshiro is guaranteed unless Bandai decides to start pumping out 10 SHFs of them. At the least Yamaguchi could do Kenshiro and Raoh and that will satisfy most demand for such an iconic IP. Plus he never sculpted them before iirc for any past Kaiyodo versions.

Classic well known favorites will likely be picked over current and fresh IPs. Too risky and anything doing well is probably getting figma or SHF/RD Mecha wise Bandai has the big names covered, so AY will likely continue what' it does best, dynamic muscular men.

Tatsunoko could potentially do well, personally I want 8 Man, but these could be too niche to stay in business. It would be neat to keep the superhero theme even with some Japanese IPs.

Articulation wise the interesting point was the shoulder-blades part. Unlike the ball jointed side bits of Wolverine or CA, this Batman's shoulder-blades slides forward and back.

As for the rest of the article it's talking about the switch to Zbrush with Eva Final Model being the first and Batman the second. At the end mentions if this sells they want to do villains and sidekicks too, which is no surprise.

I recommend you to get legacy version of this Mk42 because they have improved the quality of revoltech ball joints and painting, and if the price you find is cheap a lot than others you better be careful, it's might be a bootleg

It's something he tweeted ages ago, so I think that plan never came to be and never will. The intention was to practice but he already practiced enough making Eva and Batman

The motivation thing I think it's about confidence for making a character that many figures exists already. And I'm sure the requirements of making the cape take the form of bat wings was a tall order.

Like >>6931090 says, you can import it directly from Japan for that, you just have to order from any import store that discounts their items like AmiAmi, HLJ or HobbySearch. Ordering early before prices climb up helps too and there's always Mandarake if you're ok with second-hand items
Far as I know, US doesn't have custom/import taxes unless it's an absurdly expensive order so you don't need to worry about that adding to the cost either
If you're in Europe though...

Spidey arrived today, I had a hard time trying to pose him, specially his legs but it worked out. I removed part of the shoulder joints to make the gap less visible, the level of articulation is reduced but it's workable, I like it.

I'm looking at doing a farm Judy.
It's easier with Barbies and the like as they come without clothes, so you can dress them up, maybe it's the PC world now?
So, gotta find a straw hat and some ultra fine pink plaid.
Also trying to figure how to create fur texture (without carving every damn hair!)

Interesting.
I found the 'glue' holding the belt to be a little flexible, and about the same consistency as the model itself.
The figure seems to be moulded with some form of white latex(?) that carves fairly easily.
This is only rough work so far, actually, looking at the belt, it looks like there may have been a 'key' (white dot) to locate it, but it cut easily.

Feel sort of screwed with Magneto. Posed him once when he came out, picked him up just now to pose him again and he's super loose everywhere. Left toes flap in the breeze, shoulders feel like they want to snap. Not to mention that cape, but I knew what I was in for, I guess. It's my only revoltech-- are they usually better?

Maybe you got one that was from a bad batch? My other Revos like Ultron, Spiderman, Venom Snake, and Judy have held up pretty well from various pose attempts. Even the Revo mini stuff is still fairly good and nothing feels loose.

I think that's pretty widespread with mageneto, and it's the main reason I don't like him even with a new cape. The hips barely support just his body. On the other hand, I have a LOT of revoltechs, and he's the only one that's that bad, they're all pretty solid.
