>>6942415>>6942392>>6942404I love all this bullshit that Disney spins, to make it seem like George Lucas is involved, yet there's a reason why Lucas has likened his series as being handled by slave owners.
Characters that George Lucas had planned on using get twisted around, so his badass experienced pilot gets turned into a naive packrat scounger who acts like a 15 year old marysue wanting mommy and daddy to come back home.
The initial concepts always change, no matter how much Lucas appears on set or apologizes for criticising the series (same with Hamil), and the movies becomes nothing like what planned (or makes sense).
We've known that a Solo movie or TV show was going to be made since the 00s, but the details have constantly changed even under Lucas' stuff. Even his original Star Wars drafts are different from what he filmed.
Lucas being on set for a single day changes almost nothing that was planned, written, and directed for the 4 year years it was in preproduction for.
Disney paid Lucas (and Hamil) a lot of money and they won't allow them to undermine what they paid for. They're going to continue making appearances and making positive remarks from now on, or else.
