Besides the change in colors in certain parts, what else is different? It's been awhile but, the rebuild ones are a bit thinner?

Not the TV series, but Rebuild only means no decent MP Evas, which are very iconic too. No, the Revoltech is not good enough. I don't hate most Revoltechs but that was made back when they had the horrible cut hips.

Units 13, 2 gamma, 8 beta and Mark 9 has shitty hip joint. I guess Revoltech tries to keep the cost of production low by changing the joints into 1 ratchet joint.

Completely false.

Eva 00 got her armor redone following the conclusion of the Ramiel battle, where Rei took a blast from the angel for Shinji while he was taking his second shot with the positron rifle.

That was very early in the series.

The Sega Real Model you mean? It released along the show so yeah, it's old and it shows, but there's also the chogokin berserk one, that one's almost perfect in almost every way (plastic durability being one issue I can confirm)

Yeah, I saw the 01 figure was around $200-$400 depending on where I looked. I already have one of the classic 02 models which I'm gonna try by best at making and painting, and then a 01 model if I do a good job at it.

Depends on your taste. I already got the Mark 9 and it's not that really bad, just don't play it around like Unit 00-04; you may broke the hip joint if your do.

Also my figure's eye is a bit shitty as it can't really move with you popping it first, I guess it has something to do with the paint.

I ordered the Revol Eva-01 figure. I've been trying to decide which figures I want from Eva since I don't want to get too many despite how many exist and thought the abstract part of it and the scene in the show was good. Hopefully it'll be good.
