I've got the DC Great Mazinger and the Damaged version of DC Z, they're both super fantastic.
Articulation is quite limited on Mazinger Z because the damaged version's alternate crotch plate only has a cut out for the left leg, and if you want it accurate to the end of the film you don't have the right arm attached so there's that but the weathering and damage on him is fantastic.
Great Mazinger is probably pretty similar to Grendizer, solid articulation, shit tons of accessories, looks GREAT as hell.

They already did one rerelease of Z back when they had Great and Getter up for pre-order, so I'm not sure. Mandarake should probably have him at a decent price at least.

Depends what you're calling good. The Grendizer in the OP is a really fine figure but it's pretty much gimmickless. If that's what you're looking for, you won't find anything in that line that's not "retarded expensive".

Received Mazinger Z yesterday. That DC line is definitely incredible, way better than the regular "gimmickless SOC". I really wanna find a decently priced Great Mazinger now and maybe Getter-1 too.

But that new Zambo Ace IS a completely new design, as they didn't use the same mold as last time. The tweet doesn't mean it should be a robot they never released before.
