>>6940531MicroMasters are the $5 Price Point. They're basically updates of the original designs and characters. Countdown is actually in Wave One.
The Takara Target masters will be spread out across the entire WFC line as well.
The Voyager and Leaders all have base modes for the Micros.
Battlemasters is the new name for Legends scale. Nothing else new here.
Since the WFC story specifically excludes an Optimus Prime or Megatron as faction leaders its first year, we are using the Leader price point to include the later end US and Japanese Autobots and Decepticons as the original leaders of Cybertron. Takara gets their guys and since they don't follow our fiction they can just keep them as is.
Deathsaurus is a bit much for a name these days, with people getting the vapors every time they're offended, so we are sticking with Dezarus. He will be redeco'd as BW Megatron. Probably a store exclusive. But the head and new chest molds are already done.
Star Saber will be the other Wave One leader. He will get a retool as Thunderwing, since they both have similar alt modes. Little Jet combines with bigger jet thing. TW will be mass retail tho.
Diatlas (King Atlas just didn't work) is the other Leader for 2019. Only three original Leader molds again, and four mass retail releases.
Orion Pax, Ariel, Dion, Prowl, Whirl, Roadbuster, Ironhide, Ratchet, Roller, and the first three Seeker Tetrajets will make up the 2019 Deluxe line.
Leoknight (Victory Leo), Sonic Bomber and Roadfire will be Voyagers. Victory Saber will be a thing. Takara insisted.
