Just a little under $600 CAD for my Hot Toys '89 Batmobile. A hopeless fanatic for the iconic vehicle, and never really having a chance of getting any kind of toy of this(aside from the that one Happy Meal toy for a little while as a kid); this thing was worth breaking my self-imposed limit of $500.
Closest after that is the 3A Metal Gear REX for $490, though if they had let us know; would've happily waited on the half-size version. Got to play with one(and RAY), and I feel its the superior 3A version of MG REX.
Credit it with massively slowing my spending, letting me refocus on my budgeting habits again; as I wasn't impressed with much figures after it.
As well, it helped a pair of friends with a minor breakthrough on helping their young kid get help treating and dealing with schizophrenia that had him fully catatonic.
>>6940882Have both versions of the RioBone Canti, and not looking to sell them; but is this seriously what they go for now O_O.
>>6941313>>6941317Almost placed the order when I saw that on there, for a someday project I've been working on slowly. Glad I held off long enough for someone who'd enjoy it got one.
>Envious of the guy here who got it for just 65 at a comic shop when Diamond distributors imported it and made a pricing mistake. Anyone ever get that thing where an expensive figure gets sold cheap somewhere and it makes it hard for you to enjoy it at the more expensive price you got it at?Well... Did have to deal with a former friend(another regular to the shop) later on getting passive aggressive mad about this, when the shop keep told them the story a couple years afterword. Even tried to inform Diamond of the 'fraud' we did to them I learned recently when I stopped by a few months ago. Even though when it did happen I made sure he let Diamond know of the invoiced price, with a the affirmative given by them a few weeks later.
