It'll fully make back it's budget, at the least. Having Star Wars in the title, much like every MCU film, guarantees seats will be filled. You can't say that with most movies. Superhero and Star Wars movies hold somewhat of a monopoly in the film industry in that sense that even though not every one will be a billion dollar blockbuster like Infinity War, they'll at least make enough to be considered a success.
Rogue One, which wasn't even a direct sequel, broke a billion worldwide. Compare that to, say, Grown Ups, an average comedy flick, made less than half of that.
So, yeah, if you consider that bombing, you might be retarded. You might also be retarded if you think Solo will make significantly less than Rogue One. It might make less, but not less to the point it's even REMOTELY close to being considered a bomb.
